SACRAMENTO, CA - Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection to the death of a man found on an Acampo roadside Saturday.

Fredrick Stewart, 34, and James Wallace, 28, both from Sacramento, are connected to the murder of 25-year-old Jerry Lee Khaoone, San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said.

A passing motorist driving west on Highway 99 Frontage and Peltier roads on Saturday found Khaoone's body and called the sheriff's office.

During the investigation, detectives were lead to Stewart and Wallace in Sacramento.

Stewart was arrested for murder; Wallace was arrested for robbery and arson. Both were booked into San Joaquin County Jail.
